Ukrainian Art Song Project presents the recently discovered compositions of the late romantic Denys Sichynsky, post-romantic Stanyslav Liudkevych, impressionist Vasyl Barvinsky and modernist, as well as Ukraine's first female composer, Stefania Turkewich.

Lecture by Dr. Taras Filenko and performance by Andrew Skitko in an exploration of the work of Ukrainian composer, Yakiv Stepovyi (1883-1921) at the 45th annual UKRAINIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL (Marta Krawciw-Barabash) running from Dec. 4-6 at UNO, 145 Evans Ave. Toronto, The festival is dedicated to Yakiv Stepovyi and students from the ages of 5 - 18 are being encouraged to perform his work. Lecture will be in Ukrainian.
